The 5-foot-10, 153 pounder chose the Sooners over Tulane, Cincinnati, and others.
Daniels on why he chose Oklahoma
“The coaching staff stood out to me a lot! I love the way they coach and handle their players. They make sure you’re good on and off the field. Also I liked the way they used Marvin Mims and they relate me to him. I think I’m a perfect fit for them. They’re also a very great program and they are building a dominant team and I’m ready to be part of it. Also, the atmosphere behind Oklahoma is great. They show actual support and love.
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for KJ Daniels
“Me and Coach Emmett have a very strong relationship. My guy Benton Duby as well i spend a lot of time talking to him. And Coach V is a great coach. I talk to him as well. I feel I have a very strong bond with them and as well as the rest of the staff too.”
