A former four-star recruit out of California, Bunkley-Shelton was the No. 124 player in the Class of 2020 and was a top 25 wide receiver in the class as well as top 15 player in his home state.
As a true freshman with the Sun Devils, he played a limited role, hauling in just 11 receptions for 100 yards. He tripled his production in 2021, catching 33 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns and saw targets in each game last season before entering the transfer portal in late April.
