Elite 2024 linebacker Colin Simmons offered by Oklahoma
As a sophomore, Duncanville (Texas) linebacker Colin Simmons is still early in his recruiting process. But his recruitment is beginning to take off. After picking up nearly a half-dozen offers in the month of January, Simmons added another big one on Tuesday when Oklahoma extended an offer.
“After an amazing conversation with the Oklahoma coaching staff I am extremely blessed to receive an offer from the University of Oklahoma #BoomerSooner,” Simmons wrote on Twitter.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is the No. 7 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 2 linebacker and the No. 3 sophomore prospect in the state of Texas.
