Oklahoma fullback Jeremiah Hall makes undrafted free agency decision
Former Oklahoma fullback/tight end Jeremiah Hall did not get selected in the 2022 NFL Draft. But it didn’t take him long to latch on with a new team. The former Sooner signed an undrafted free agent contract with the New York Giants, according to Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network.
Per Pro Football Focus, Hall was given a receiving grade of 90.2 in 2021, good enough for first among Big 12 tight ends. He pulled in 32 catches for 334 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Hall’s 2021 season was good enough to earn first team All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches. During his entire career in Norman, the tight end/h-back pulled in a total of 68 catches for 757 receiving yards and 12 total touchdowns.

In 2019, Hall was also named a second team All-Big 12 selection. He played in all 14 games that season–starting 11 of those. The Charlotte, North Carolina native was rated as a three-star recruit coming out of high school, according to the On3 Consensus Rankings for the 2017 recruiting class.
NFL Draft analyst Lance Zirlein gave his thoughts on Hall
NFL.com’s draft analyst Lance Zirlein gave his thoughts on Hall and broke down his skill set:
“Team leader and productive player for successful Sooner offenses during his three seasons as a starter. Hall frequently aligned at wingback but was a little inconsistent at finding his angles and sticking to his block when asked to be an extension of the offensive line in the run game. He has the toughness and pass-catching acumen to fold into a fullback role for teams utilizing 21 personnel groupings and he might benefit from a more focused itinerary as a lead blocker. His high football character and core special-teams potential increase his odds of landing an NFL job, but becoming a stickier blocker might be the key to establishing career longevity at the next level.”
