Four-Star Safety Jaydan Hardy commits to Oklahoma
Four-star safety Jaydan Hardy of Lewisville (TX) High announced his commitment to Oklahoma Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot, 175 pounder chose the Sooners over Texas A&M, Oregon, and others.
Hardy on why he chose Oklahoma
“Oklahoma has always recruited me the hardest since my freshman year even when they had coach Lincoln Riley so the adjustment to coach V wasn’t hard at all i had already been on campus countless of times and seeing many of my bros committing to Oklahoma and trying to build something together has really stuck on me. I’m big on brotherhood and trust in the people that will make me a better man on and off the field. OU makes that vision clearer for me than any other school.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Hardy
“Coach Valai is my strong connection at OU. He has recruited hard ever since my freshman year when he was at bama and always told me i would play for him one day. My relationship with coach Hall has just begun but has come so far in such little time I feel he can develop me to get ready for the league. He’s all about winning just like me so we have the competitive nature that bonds us together.”
The Lone Star State safety joins coach Venables and the Sooners top 20 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by Michael Hawkins, Isaiah Autry, and others.
