Four-Star WR Elijah Thomas commits to Oklahoma
Four-star wide receiver Elijah Thomas of Checotah (OK) High announced his commitment to Oklahoma Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-1, 185 pounder chose the Sooners over Oklahoma State, Alabama, and Texas A&M.
Thomas on why he chose Oklahoma
“The love everyone was showing me when I was there made me feel welcome and made it feel like home. Benton Duby, Coach V, Coach Jones they all made me feel welcome. When I went to other facilities I didn’t feel what I felt at OU.
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“I’d have to say I’m closest with Bduby but besides him Coach Jones. They plan on using me for my speed ability and deep balls.”
Thomas ranks as the No. 143 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 20 wide receiver and the No. 4 player in the state of Oklahoma.
