Four-Star WR Jaden Nickens commits to Oklahoma

Four-star wide receiver Jaden Nickens of Oklahoma City (OK) Millwood High announced his commitment to Oklahoma Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-3, 185 pounder chose the Sooners over Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
“Man really the coaches, they’re really installed into the program, and they just want to make kids like me better men in the world! And especially knowing Coach Jones’ background a little just really stood out to me because I feel like he’s for me, and is about winning games! And I know he wants me to be a successful black man outside of football.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“Coach Jones most definitely, but I got close with coach V also! Just having that relationship with your Position coach and Head coach is very important! But I also got a feel for the strength coach, pretty good also Coach Schmidt.”
