4-star EDGE Kellen Lindstrom sets visit to Oklahoma
Springfield (Mo.) Glendale four-star EDGE Kellen Lindstrom will be back in Norman this weekend for Oklahoma’s spring game he tells On3 Chad Simmons.
Lindstrom is the No. 233 overall prospect and No. 20 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Missouri.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder holds multiple Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Wisconsin as the favorite to land a commitment from Lindstrom at 20.3%.
Lindstrom told Simmons that this visit was important for him and his family as they’re working internally at trimming down the list and finding the right school for him.
The trip back to Norman will be the second for Lindstrom who was last on campus March 4.
Lindstrom currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Oklahoma’s class starting to come together
After a bit of a slow start to begin the new recruiting cycle, Oklahoma’s found success on the trail over the last month.
The Sooners class consists of three commitments so far ranking as the No. 26 class in the country and the No. 11 the SEC.

Oklahoma’s current commitments include Queen Creek (Ariz.) Casteel four-star cornerback Jeremiah Newcombe, McKinney (Texas) Frisco Emerson four-star quarterback Michael Hawkins and Franklinton (La.) three-star wide receiver Kelly Daniels.
While the Sooners have started to pick up steam, the 2024 cycle is still a far cry away from where Brent Venables and co. finished during the 2023 cycle.
The Sooners signed 26 players during the 2023 cycle and finished with the No. 7 class in the country and the No. 2 class in the Big 12. That class consisted of five players ranked inside the top-100.
Three of those players were ranked as five-star prospects including a pair Five-Star Plus+ signees. They were Denton (Texas) Guyer quarterback Jackson Arnold, Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City EDGE Adepoju Adebawore and Denton (Texas) Guyer safety Peyton Bowen.
