Keontez Lewis injury update: Optimistic news emerges after Oklahoma WR stretchered off field

A positive update has emerged regarding Oklahoma wide receiver Keontez Lewis, who was stretchered off the field during Saturday’s game against Kent State.
Per Sooner Sports Network, Lewis was up and walking around back in the training room. He is said to be doing well and his X-rays came back negative for any broken bones.
After failing to make a grab in the back of the end zone, Lewis lost control and slammed helmet first into Oklahoma‘s brick wall located not far from sed end zone. He did not make a catch prior to his exit, but has been one of the Sooners’ biggest contributors to their No. 5 ranking this season. Through five games, Lewis has hauled in 17 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns.
