Oklahoma EDGE rusher Kelvin Gilliam has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Gilliam played high school football at Highland Springs (VA) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 102 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. Gilliam was also the No. 8 EDGE rusher in the nation by the time his recruiting cycle was finished.

He appeared in three games for the Sooners in 2023, totaling three tackles on the year. Through three seasons, Gilliam has produced 10 tackles before entering choosing to enter the portal for his final bit of eligibility.

According to Gilliam’s On3 recruiting page, Gilliam had received interest from Northwestern and Notre Dame, among others, though his commitment to OU came shortly before On3’s RPM, or Recruiting Prediction Machine, was released. With his recruiting background, he should have his pick of the litter when it comes to P5 options moving forward.
