WATCH: Oklahoma football shows support for softball in WCWS crowd

As Oklahoma opens the WCWS against Texas, a pair of Sooners football players in attendance at the game shared a video of their support. Punter Michael Turk shared of video of him sitting beside incoming transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel at the game, cheering on Oklahoma as they opened the game with a 5-1 first-inning lead.

Turk was not only fully embracing the atmosphere, he was present with body paint for a shirt. Announcing that they were live from the Women’s College World Series, he put the camera on his teammate and Gabriel shared their recipe for success after the first inning — “We started strong, let’s finish fast.”
Oklahoma fans in attendance were treated to another incredible performance by Jocelyn Alo as she opened the game with a home run and a double in her first two at-bats. Alo’s last six at-bats at the WCWS have resulted in hits, including three home runs.
