Oklahoma locates Danny Stutsman's stolen senior day jersey after Alabama upset
Danny Stutsman kind of wanted his jersey back, and it appears as though he got his wish. His Senior Day jersey has been located.
The Oklahoma linebacker took to social media after Saturday night’s 24-3 upset win over Alabama to reveal that his game-worn jersey had been stolen from his locker. He asked for help locating the jersey, and it paid off.
It is now on display inside the Oklahoma football facility.
It appears as though the team has placed the jersey on a wall of NFL jerseys, as the league’s logo and a Kyler Murray Arizona Cardinals jersey can be seen around Stutsman’s jersey. It was put up alongside a photo of Stutsman during the win against the Crimson Tide.
The story behind how the jersey was found hasn’t been revealed as of this report.
However, the placing of his jersey might be foreshadowing what’s to come for Stutsman over the next year. During Saturday night’s upset against Alabama he topped the 100-tackle mark on the season. He has logged 100 stops, 7.5 tackles for a loss, a sack and three quarterback hurries across the 2024 season.

It’s no surprise that the 2023 third-team AP All-American is playing his way up NFL Draft boards. Draft Network currently has Stutsman as a Day 3 pick, highlighting his strengths in coverage, athleticism and form tackling as key assets. However, the analysis states that Stutsman still needs some work against the run.
However, now that the jersey is back, safe and sound and on the walls of the OU football facility, Stutsman can focus his attention toward an interesting matchup during the final week of the regular season against LSU. With the Sooners already bowl-eligible after the Alabama win, they’d love to finish the regular season on a high note in Baton Rouge on Saturday night.
The opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and will air live on ESPN. The Tigers are 6-point betting favorites to begin game week.
