Oklahoma PF Jacolb Cole enters NCAA transfer portal

Oklahoma power forward Jacolb Cole entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He spent the last two years with the Sooners.
He redshirted his first year on campus but saw some game action this past season. Cole played in 15 games but averaged just 4.6 minutes per game.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Cole was a four-star recruit out of Bellaire (Texas) Link Academy (Mo.), according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 5 overall prospect in Missouri, the No. 23 forward in the class and the No. 119 overall prospect in the class.

Cole was the latest player to enter the portal this week. Fellow Oklahoma basketball player Luke Northweather entered on Monday.

Northweather spent the past three seasons with the Sooners as a redshirt sophomore in Norman. He redshirted as a freshman before appearing in 55 games as a reserve the last two years at OU.
In total, Northweather has averaged 2.4 points (41.9% FG, 31.3% 3PT) and 1.4 rebounds. That includes some slight improvement this season with his statistics up to 2.7 points (42.9% FG, 34% 3PT) and 1.5 rebounds in just over 11 minutes per game.
Northweather is a native of Jefferson City, Missouri. He played high school basketball there at Blair Oaks.
