Oklahoma safety Daeh McCullough plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Sunday evening. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound safety will have four years of eligibility remaining. McCullough was ranked as a four-star prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

His only appearance this season came in the Sooners’ season-opener vs. the Arkansas State Red Wolves (September 2nd).

McCullough ranked as the No. 399 player according to the 2023 On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 37 safety and the No. 4 player in the state of Indiana.

In seven games as a senior, he racked up 60 tackles, one sack, and an interception. In his junior season, he tallied 24 tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one tackle for loss.

His brother, Dasan McCullough, transferred to Oklahoma from Indiana in January and plays linebacker. His father, Deland McCullough currently coaches the running backs for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
