Oklahoma vs. Tulane TV crew revealed
Dave Pasch and Oklahoma-alum Dusty Dvoracek will get the call next weekend when Oklahoma takes on Tulane in New Orleans. Longtime field analyst Tom Luginbill, who has previously worked with Pasch, will join them. The Sept. 4 game will air at 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
Pasch, who has been at ESPN since 2003, does play-by-play for the NBA, men’s and women’s college basketball and college football. He is the radio voice for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.
Dvoracek was an Oklahoma nose tackle drafted by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft. The consensus All-Big 12 player had 39 tackles, 13.5 of which were for a loss, four sacks and an interception as a senior in 2005. In total, he played in 49 games with 28 starts in Norman. Dvoracek has previously worked as a college football analyst at ESPN with play-by-play commentator Mark Jones and reporter Olivia Dekker.
Oklahoma a big favorite in New Orleans
After going 6-6 last season, the Green Wave look to get back above .500 this year. They have made two straight bowl games; they beat Southern Miss in the Armed Forces Bowl two years ago and fell to Nevada last season in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Tulane returns nearly their entire offense, including starting quarterback Michael Pratt. Pratt threw for 1,806 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions last year. He ran for 229 yards and eight scores. Running backs Cameron Carroll and Tyjae Spears make up a formidable backfield for Tulane, which averaged 218.9 rushing yards per game last season good for second-best in the AAC. Additionally, sixth-year head coach Willie Fritz has his top-six receivers from last year back with the team. They need to replace some faces on defense, and senior middle linebacker Marvin Moody will need to step up.
Of course, Oklahoma comes to Yulman Stadium as arguably the top team in the country led by Heisman frontrunner Spencer Rattler and a greatly improved defense anchored by their linebacker corps. After sitting out last season, running back Kennedy Brooks returns with hopes to eclipse the 1,000-rushing-yard mark once again.
The current spread is Oklahoma -26.5. Tulane’s veteran offense might be able to exploit some of Oklahoma’s defensive weaknesses early, especially if new offensive coordinator Chip Long throws the ball a fair amount, but it will likely be a long afternoon for Tulane.
