On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Oklahoma leads for Jacobe Johnson

Mustang (Okla.) four-star athlete Jacobe Johnson has led a quiet recruiting process to this point, with his commitment a little more than 48 hours away.
Johnson, the No. 39 overall prospect in the On300 rankings, took four official visits in June: Alabama, Oklahoma, Michigan and Stanford. Each of those four programs, along with Oklahoma State, made his top five schools list, which he released last week.
As commitment time draws closer, though, it’s the Sooners who have a commanding lead in the race to land him, according to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Sooners an 86.5 percent chance of securing his commitment, with no other program polling above 5 percent currently.
Oklahoma has been a constant in his recruitment over the past two years, hosting him on more than a half dozen visits, including for their ChampU BBQ in early June. The Sooners currently hold the No. 9 class in the On3 Consensus Recruiting Rankings, with commitments from five-star quarterback Jackson Arnold and On3 five-star Adepoju Adebawore headlining the group.

Needs some refinement with his technique in press coverage but has all the physical tools to play the position at a high level. One of the most gifted overall athletes in the country.
