If Vickers, a 6-foot-1, 189 pound prospect, commits to Oklahoma, he would be the first safety in the Sooners’ class. Oklahoma currently has one other defensive back pledge in Spanaway (Wash.) Spanaway Lake four-star cornerback Jasiah Wagoner.

Vickers would also be the fifth-highest-ranked recruit and fifth top-100 prospect in the Sooners’ class if he chooses head coach Brent Venables and his staff. The others are Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star quarterback Jackson Arnold, Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City four-star EDGE Adepoju Adebawore, Houston (Texas) Langham Creek four-star wide receiver Jaquaize Pettaway and Lees Summit (Mo.) Lee’s Summit North four-star offensive tackle Cayden Green.

Vickers has an On3 NIL Valuation of $127K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
