3-star LB Taylor Heim commits to Oklahoma
Bethany (Okla.) three-star linebacker Taylor Heim has committed to Oklahoma. He announced the news over social media on Friday night.

“I’m excited and ready to get to work so I can show what I can do at the next level,” Heim wrote in a statement published to Twitter. “Thank you Coach Venables and the entire OU staff for giving me this opportunity. With that being said, I am committing to the University of Oklahoma! BoomerSooner.”
Heim is now the fourth linebacker pledge in the Sooners’ 2023 recruiting class. The others are Crandall (Texas) four-star Samuel Omosigho, Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Catholic four-star Lewis Carter and Perkasie (Penn.) IMG Academy three-star Phil Picciotti.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound defender received 12 offers. In addition to Oklahoma, they included Air Force, Army and Navy.
Heim has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
