2024 NCAA champion Richie Figueroa (Arizona State) entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He is expected to commit to Oklahoma State, according to The Wrestling Room’s Pat Mineo.

Figueroa, who won the title last season, went 1-2 at NCAAs in March, failing to get back on the podium. He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining.

According to Mineo, Figueroa could move up to 133 pounds to adjust to the Cowboys lineup. 2025 NCAA finalist Troy Spratley is currently at 125 pounds.

Figueroa is 46-9 in his career, including a 14-0 season as a redshirt freshman before he even cracked the lineup. He went 15-5 in 2023-24, winning the title over Iowa’s Drake Ayala in Kansas City.

This year, Figueroa was a popular pick to repeat as champion, but lost to RutgersDean Peterson in the second round by fall. Then in his first wrestleback match, Figueroa lost to UNI’s Trever Anderson 17-8 and was eliminated.

A 17-4 season for Figueroa came up empty in the end. But with his expected move to Oklahoma State, the Cowboys reloaded with portal additions following a 3rd place finish at NCAAs.

With Figueroa off to the portal and likely heading to Stillwater, the Cowboys’ lineup looks loaded again. Let’s take a look, per WrestleStat.

Swiderski was ruled out with an injury all season and did not wrestle in 2024-25. He was listed at 141 pounds after going 149 the previous season.

In 2023-24, Swiderski went 20-5 en route to a 7th place finish in Kansas City, becoming an All-American. As a freshman in 2023, Swiderski finished 12-12 and had a Blood Round finish, one win shy of All-American honors.

Facundo spent four years at Penn State but still has three years of eligibility remaining. He utilized a redshirt his first year on campus and then an Olympic redshirt last season.

This past season, he went 5-1 two years after going 19-6 and qualifying for the 2023 NCAA Tournament, his lone season as a starter. Facundo made the move to Oklahoma State official on Instagram.“God has never led me astray, His plans are perfect,” Facundo wrote on Instagram. “Feels like Home.”
