Arizona State transfer OL Isaia Glass commits to Oklahoma State Cowboys
Arizona State transfer offensive lineman Isaia Glass committed to the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday afternoon, he announced on his Twitter page.
As a sophomore in 2022, Glass started all 12 games at tackle. In 2021, he appeared in six games as a freshman. He was a late bloomer in the high school recruiting process and his stock soared after he had an impressive senior campaign. Glass was named to the MaxPreps Arizona high school football all-state first team.
He is the son of Paul Glass, who played on the defensive line for Arizona State from 2000-2001.
Glass wasn’t the only transfer portal commitment on Saturday for the Cowboys. They also landed former UTEP safety Kobe Hylton.
Hylton spent two years at UTEP after transferring there from Louisiana. He racked up 54 tackles, 0.5 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, four pass breakups and two quarterback hurries this season.
In his two-year career at UTEP, Hylton tallied 145 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, 0.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, a blocked kick and seven passes defended.
Prior to enrolling at Louisiana and then later transferring to UTEP, Kobe Hylton was an unranked recruit in the 2019 class, coming out of Snellville (GA) South Gwinnett.
