Former TCU quarterback Hauss Hejny signed with Oklahoma State out of the NCAA transfer portal. Hejny entered last week, just before Christmas.

Hejny played in four games this season, but did not throw a pass. He was utilized as a runner, carrying the football 15 times for 65 yards.

As a member of the Class of 2024, Hejny was a four-star recruit out of Fort Worth (Texas) Aledo, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 43 overall prospect in the state, the No. 16 quarterback in the class and the No. 246 overall prospect in the class.

Hejny wasn’t the only player to recently sign with Oklahoma State. Former Temple DL Demerick Morris committed to the school last week.

He was a product of the 2020 recruiting class. Morris redshirted his true freshman season, before making the first career start at defensive tackle against USF the next season. He became a regular member of the Owls deep defensive line rotation after that, playing in all 12 games as a sophomore before being forced to medical redshirt in 2023.

When he came back as a senior in 2024, he was given the distinction of wearing a jersey number in the single digits — something that is traditionally given to Temple team leaders. He served as a team captain throughout the season and maintained his position as the starting nose guard.

He entered into the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 4.
