On3 3-star OT Gage Stanaland flips commitment to Oklahoma State from Navy
Tuscola (Texas) Jim Ned three-star offensive tackle Gage Stanaland flipped his pledge from Navy to Oklahoma State on Wednesday. He was previously committed to the Midshipmen since Aug. 15.
Stanaland is unranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus. However, On3 rates him higher than other recruiting services, per the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not in the 2023 On300, the Lone Star State native is a three-star recruit, per On3.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect chose the Cowboys just under an hour after tweeting that he was offered by them. Stanaland also held offers Navy and New Mexico State.
Oklahoma State’s 2023 recruiting class now contains 11 commitments. It ranks No. 65 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 9 in the Big 12.

The group is led by Gretna (Neb.) three-star quarterback Zane Flores, the No. 434 overall prospect and No. 23 quarterback in the On3 Consensus. Even though he is not ranked in the On300, On3 rates Flores as the No. 21 quarterback in the country.
The Cowboys also have commitments from three other top-600 prospects. They are Houston (Texas) Furr three-star wide receiver Camron Heard, Oklahoma City (Okla.) Del City three-star defensive lineman Jaedon Foreman and Oak Grove (La.) three-star linebacker Kam Franklin.
While Stanaland is Oklahoma State’s only offensive tackle commit, the program has two pledges from interior offensive linemen. They are Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic three-star Jack Endean and Stillwater (Okla.) three-star JaKobe Sanders.
