WATCH: Jason Taylor comes away with crucial interception, suffers brutal-looking injury
Oklahoma State safety Jason Taylor came up with one of the defining plays of the game Saturday in a 41-34 win against Texas, intercepting a pass from Quinn Ewers with 1:23 remaining. Unfortunately, Taylor also came up hobbling after suffering an injury on the play.
Jason Taylor appeared to grab his knee as he went down, and was seen on the sidelines moments after with a noticeable limp as a pair of teammates helped him walk to seek medical attention for the injury. He did not re-enter the game even after the Longhorns got the ball back with less than a minute remaining.

The Oklahoma State defense still prevented Texas from scoring, as Kendal Daniels secured the game-sealing interception with eight seconds remaining. Prior to both interceptions, Bryson Green caught the eventual game-winning 41-yard touchdown pass from Spencer Sanders, bouncing off would-be tackles on his way to the end zone.
Taylor finished the game with two interceptions in addition to nine tackles as the Cowboys improved to 6-1 (3-1 Big 12) on the year. Oklahoma State held the Longhorns to just a field goal in the second half after giving up three touchdowns of 40-plus yards in the first.

Sanders, on the flip side, finished 34-of-57 passing for 391 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the victory for the Cowboys. Jason Taylor’s injury status will be worth watching heading into next week, when Oklahoma State faces No. 17 Kansas State next Saturday in Manhattan.
