Oklahoma State announces Blackout Game for November matchup against Iowa State
Last season, Oklahoma State decided to make a November matchup against TCU a blackout game. After seeing the success of that last season, the Cowboys are doing it again in 2022.
On Sunday, Oklahoma State announced that the second edition of the blackout will take place on November 12 against Iowa State. Oklahoma State wide receiver Brennan Presley narrated the video posted on Twitter, and he expressed his excitement to see the blackout returning again this year.
“What’s up Cowboys fans, it’s Brennan Presley, BP here. I just wanted to let you guys know that November 12th when we play Iowa State will be our Military Appreciation and Blackout Game,” Presley said. “And personally, to me, the Blackout Game, just looking at the crowd when you’re on the field, it’s such an unreal experience. It was one of my favorite scenes I’ve ever seen at a football game. So I can’t wait to see you guys there this year. Get pumped up for that game. We’re going to turn up and let’s go!”
Last year’s blackout game went very well for Oklahoma State, as the Cowboys won in dominating fashion over TCU by a whopping score of 63-17. Oklahoma State will undoubtedly be hoping for a similar result against Iowa State this season.
