2023 Four-Star Eric Dailey commits to Oklahoma State
Eric Dailey Jr., a four-star forward in the class of 2023, has committed to Oklahoma State.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pound prospect out of Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy ultimately chose the Cowboys over Memphis and the professional route. He also received offers from Florida State, TCU, Michigan, Texas A&M, and others. Dailey was originally a part of the 2022 class prior to reclassifying.
According to the On3 Consensus, Dailey ranks as the No. 57 overall prospect in the 2023 class. The On3 Consensus is the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies (ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals, On3).
Dailey is the fifth player to commit to Oklahoma State this recruiting cycle. He joins four-star big man Brandon Garrison (No. 45), three-star forward Justin McBride (No. 128), three-star guard Jamyron Keller (No. 179), and three-star wing Connor Dow (No. 266).
Dailey on his commitment to Oklahoma State
“The reason I chose Oklahoma State was because of the family environment,” Dailey said to On3. “The coaching staff knows how to help develop my game to another level.”

How would Eric Dailey describe his game, in his own words?
“I am a positionless player. Meaning I can play at all spots on the floor. I can score from all three levels while getting my teammates involved with being a good passer and playmaker.”
Dailey has a message for Cowboys fans.
“To the OSU fans, I’m ready to work and we’re gonna turn up and give everyone what they deserve and that’s a show.”
Scouting Summary
Lefty. Has a strong frame with good length. Broad shoulders. Advanced scoring package. Has good touch at every level. Lateral mobility questions, where does he defend? Smooth off the catch, shooting with range. Like to see him pay more attention to rebounding. Good mid-range, mid-post game. Can face up and score in the half court, good footwork and balance. A scoring threat.
