Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial four-star EDGE Michael Riles has committed to Oklahoma State, he announced on Thursday.

He chose the Cowboys over Nebraska, Texas A&M, Florida, UCF and Texas Tech.

Riles is the No. 307 overall prospect and No. 28 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 48 player in Texas.

Mike Gundy and the OSU staff have landed another pledge from an impressive Lone Star State prospect. The addition of Riles gives the Cowboys 16 commitments in total and a class that now ranks No. 33 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Cowboys own top-five class in Big 12

Riles is the second four-star to commit to Oklahoma State this cycle. He now flanks Columbus (Texas) four-star quarterback Adam Schobel, who flipped to the Cowboys from Baylor on April 22. Schobel is the No. 231 overall recruit and No. 17 QB in the nation.

All but five of the commits in the class hail from Texas. Gundy and Co. added a pair of wide receiver pledges in April, as San Antonio Brandeis three-star Jaden Perez and Cibolo (Texas) Steele three-star Royal Capell each joined the class.

“Coach Gundy came here personally the week after I officially got offered by Coach Dunn. And that that was just a big thing to me with the head coach coming here. That means they’re pretty interested,” Capell told On3’s Chad Simmons. “That kind of that already put them toward the top of my radar and then really just leading up to the visits ever since they offered me, they’ve kinda stayed on me more than any other school with calls and texts every day.”

Leander (Texas) Glenn three-star running back DJ Dugar is a top-50 prospect at his position and committed earlier this month on June 15. OSU has now added seven pledges in June, from the likes of Dugar, Waco (Texas) Midway three-star linebacker Donovan Jones, Killeen (Texas) Shoemaker three-star tight end Isaiah Butler-Tanner and now Riles.

Other top commits in the class include Addison (Texas) Trinity Christian three-star interior lineman Jaylan Beckley, McKinney (Texas) North three-star WR Kameron Powell and Idabel (Okla.) three-star athlete Matrail Lopez.
