Dallas (Texas) Plano three-star recruit Justin McBride tells On3 he has committed to Oklahoma State.

McBride, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound class of 2023 power forward, chose the Cowboys over Arizona State, Missouri, Kansas State, and others.

The Texas native is Oklahoma State’s fourth commitment to the class of 2023. He joins four-star C Brandon Garrison (No. 43), three-star PG Jamyron Keller (No. 202), and three-star SF Connor Dow (No. 235).

McBride is the No. 133 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 28 power forward and the No. 13 player in the state of Texas.

McBride on his commitment to Oklahoma State

“OSU has been so special in so many different ways,” McBride said to On3. “Their playstyle is what I love best which is transition basketball.”

What type of player is Oklahoma State getting in Justin McBride?

“A combo forward that can push the ball in transition and makes plays,” he says. “Make difficult shots down the stretch.”
