The Oklahoma State Cowboys are getting ready to play the Texas A&M Aggies in the Texas Bowl. However, before the game gets started, the players received their gifts from the Texas Bowl.

Receiving gifts from different bowl games is pretty standard. Each bowl has its own way of doing things, but these are rewards for the players for having a good season and getting to go to a bowl game.

You can watch the Oklahoma State Cowboys receive their Texas Bowl gifts, here:

Among the gifts that the players received were AirPods, Roombas, Ninja appliances, BioLite fire pits, Mammoth coolers, Blackstone Griddles, Coach wallets, and Smart TVs.

Now, not every Oklahoma State player got each one of those things. Instead, they were allowed to pick from those things. In the video, players can be seen choosing the items that they want and talking with one another about the options.

“I’m kind of thinking more outside the box, for my family, kind of what they would want,” one player can be heard saying.

The Texas Bowl itself is set for Wednesday, December 27th at 9:00 pm EST. It will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston. Ahead of the game, FanDuel initially listed Oklahoma State as a 4.5-point underdog to Texas A&M. The over/under opened at 53.5 points.

The Cowboys are coming into the game following a frustrating performance against Texas in the Big 12 Championship Game. Meanwhile, the Aggies made a coaching change mid-season and have since hired a new head coach in Mike Elko. Amid that change, Texas A&M has also lost several key players to the transfer portal.

Mike Gundy credits Texas players for creating difficult matchups in Big 12 Championship

Following the difficult Big 12 Championship Game, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy credited Texas for creating difficult matchups for the Cowboys to deal with.

“I don’t want to repeat myself. There’s no secret that matching up with them across the board can be difficult. I will give Sark credit offensively. He did some good things — I mean, Nick can run with them. He can run with those backs and stuff on their routes. They brought them across and kind of got caught up in the trash. He had good concepts out there. It’s not something we haven’t seen, and I will give him credit for that,” Gundy said.

“I will say this, I’m just going to call it like it is. When you start getting multiple scores, you can start dialing stuff up a little easier. I’ve always said that. The reason I know that is because I’ve been in situations where I’m calling plays, and things that I have that I might not get to, I can get to them easier if I’m at multiple scores.”
