Oklahoma State safety Kobe Hylton withdraws from NCAA Transfer Portal
Oklahoma State safety Kobe Hylton has withdrawn from the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Hylton, who has an additional season of eligibility given his previous junior college experience, originally entered the portal on Dec. 26, but reversed course Wednesday.
The 6-foot, 197-pound Hylton started eight games for the Cowboys this past season, his first in Stillwater after transferring in following two seasons at UTEP. Oklahoma State is the fifth program Hylton has played football at, following stops at UTEP, Long Island, Louisiana and Northeastern Oklahoma Community College.
In three FBS seasons, Hylton has has a whopping 185 total tackles, nine deflections, four forced fumbles, an interception and half a sack. That includes racking up 40 tackles this past season, which was seventh on the Oklahoma State roster, along with two deflections and the interception.
Hylton is eligible for a sixth season after the NCAA granted blanket waivers to student-athletes who participated at non-NCAA programs and expired their eligibility in the 2024 season following the Diego Pavia ruling by a Tennessee district court judge.

After spending four seasons with Oklahoma’s rival at Oklahoma State, Daniels is now set to play for the Sooners.
Kendal Daniels played safety during his first three seasons at Oklahoma State and moved to linebacker this year.
He appeared in all 12 of Oklahoma State’s games this season, tallying 64 tackles, 5.5 sacks and seven passes defended. Daniels had the best season of his career last year when he erupted for a career-high 105 tackles, along with two sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble.
Now he is joining an Oklahoma defense that is led by one of the best defensive minds in college football in Brent Venables. The Sooners had a top-20 defense this past season, but struggled offensively.
