The Oklahoma State athletics department has unveiled a new $325 million athletics vision plan for the future.

This comes as the Big 12 loses Texas and Oklahoma while adding UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, and BYU. In that turnover, there is a push to establish different athletic departments at the top of the new Big 12. In that changing landscape, Oklahoma State is making its move with this facilities announcement.

“The plan focuses on providing for the success of the student-athletes, improving the fan experience, and bolstering the University’s ability to attract student-athletes across all programs through the creation of a unified and connected athletic village unrivaled in college sports,” the release reads.

“Included in the plan are a new football operations center, a new wrestling training facility, a new softball stadium, an indoor track, a new training center for basketball, upgrades to the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center and to Karsten Creek Golf Course and repurposed areas in the west end zone of Boone Pickens Stadium and Gallagher-Iba Arena for student-athlete services that include a new academics center and spaces for mental health, leadership and career development.”

How Oklahoma State is going to implement and construct these facilities is to be determined. It will be decided as funding becomes available for each segment.

This plan is currently conceptual. Along with numerous facilities improvements for football, softball, indoor track and field, wrestling, basketball, equestrian, golf and more will be getting upgraded.

Oklahoma State baseball had two no-hitters in a row

Pitching a no-hitter is a remarkable feat. Pitching two in a row is unheard of, but Oklahoma State managed to pull it off over the weekend.

You can watch that happen, here:

Loyola Marymount is the team who fell victim to Oklahoma State’s magical weekend. Though, for the Lions, it was likely the worst hitting weekend of their lives.
