Houston Furr three-star wide receiver Camron Heard has committed to Oklahoma State, announcing the news Thursday on social media.
He is unranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. However, On3 ranks him as a three-star prospect.

Heard is the ninth commit in the 2023 recruiting class for the Cowboys, which currently ranks 47th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
Aubrey (Texas) Braswell three-star cornerback Dylan Smith is the highest-rated recruit in the class at the moment. In addition to being the No. 569 prospect in the On3 Consensus, he currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $7.7k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
