3-star RB Sesi Vailahi commits to Oklahoma State
Salt Lake City (Utah) West three-star running back Sesi Vailahi has announced his commitment to Oklahoma State. He chose the Cowboys over offers from Nevada, Southern Utah and Utah State among others.
Vailahi is the No. 1,950 overall prospect and No. 135 running back in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 26 player in Utah.
The Cowboys’ 2023 recruiting class now contains 20 commits. Following Vailahi’s pledge, Oklahoma State’s group ranks No. 55 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 11 in the Big 12.
Vailahi is the only high school tailback commit to head coach Mike Gundy and his staff. Meanwhile, former Michigan State running back Elijah Collins transferred to Stillwater this offseason.

Vailahi has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
