Phoenix (Ariz.) PHHoenix Prep 2024 three-star shooting guard Jeremiah Johnson has committed to Oklahoma State.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound Oklahoma City native chose the Cowboys over a final group of TCU, LSU, Saint Louis, and SMU.

“I chose OSU because it’s home to me,” Johnson said to On3. “Me and every coach have a really good relationship and they believed in me through thick and thin. No other place I can see myself thriving as a basketball player and as a growing man.”

In his own words, what type of player is Oklahoma State getting in Johnson?

“I describe my game as a winner. I do whatever is possible to win! I’m a fast playmaking guard that is very athletic and can shoot it!”

Johnson has a message to Cowboys fans.

“I’m not only a great basketball player but a great kid on campus to those around me!”

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Johnson is the No. 141 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 29 shooting guard prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Johnson Scouting Report

“Jeremiah Johnson has long arms with a projectable frame. The jump shot is natural and smooth. It has a repeatable, high release with great wrist action on the follow-through. He runs well and moves both vertically and laterally with athleticism. He is a solid secondary ball handler, would like to see him continue to tighten this area. Has the upside to be a good defender, able to both move his feet on the perimeter and get into the passing lanes off the ball.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
