WATCH: Brennan Presley snags incredible 42-yard touchdown catch
Oklahoma State receiver Brennan Presley already had one touchdown catch against Iowa State, but he added a second right before halftime. In what has to be one of the best plays from the Cowboys offense this season, Presley leaped above a pair of Cyclones defenders to come down with a go-ahead score.
The score put OSU up 14-7 heading into halftime. Presley’s first touchdown of the game was a much shorter five-yard dart from quarterback Spencer Sanders. The receiver has a combined three touchdowns in the past two games.
At the break, Presley was one of only two Cowboys receivers with a catch. He currently leads the team with four receptions for 76 yards and the pair of touchdowns. OSU continues to ride running back Jaylen Warren, who has 10 caries for 54 yards. Sanders was 5-of-9 for 101 yards and also had 38 on the ground.
The catch is even more impressive when you consider that Presley is the shortest receiver on OSU’s roster, standing at just 5-foot-8. Yet he still leaped higher than either of the Cyclones defenders to secure the ball.
Oklahoma State entered this game as a top 10 team and one of only two remaining unbeatens in the Big 12. Despite this, the Cyclones found themselves a 7-point favorite.

Positive news on Texas QB
The matchup pits the top two defenses in the conference against each other, so offensive fireworks weren’t expected. The Cowboys defensive front held the Cyclones to just nine yards rushing on 16 carries in the first half.
This year the offense has taken a backseat to defense in what is an atypical team under Mike Gundy. However, Brennan Presley is doing everything he can to change that, and his touchdown catch is remnant of what we’re used to seeing from this offense.
The Cowboys will hope for a few more big plays as they try to hold on for the win. Next week, they’re back home against a Kansas Jayhawks team that gave Oklahoma a scare in Week 8.
