2025 EDGE Corey Amos recommits to Ole Miss Rebels
Last month Opelousas (La.) three-star EDGE Corey Amos decommitted from Ole Miss after having been pledged to the Rebels since Feb. 3.
Amos announced Friday evening that he has rejoined the Rebels’ 2025 recruiting class.
He is the nation’s No. 520 overall prospect, No. 46 EDGE and No. 15 recruit from Louisiana in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Amos is the 13th member of Ole Miss’ 2025 class. Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove four-star defensive lineman Andrew Maddox, Horn Lake (Miss.) Lake Cormorant four-star linebacker Jarcoby Hopson, Auburndale (Fla.) Lakeland four-star safety Keon Young and Lexington (Miss.) Holmes County Central four-star safety Cortez Thomas headline the class as the Rebels’ four blue-chippers.

Maddox committed to Ole Miss in June.
“They are developing players and they won 11 games last year. Me and (defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Pete (Golding), we have a connection,” Maddox said. “He recruited me when he was at Alabama. When he moved to Ole Miss, that brought me closer to him.
“My brother is going there, so that’s what also drew me closer to Ole Miss. (Defensive line) coach (Randall) Joyner is like a second father to me. He’s taken me under his wing and shown me around, shown me things and we are building a relationship. I am getting to know him and I feel safe around him.”
