2025 WR Dillon Alfred commits to Ole Miss Rebels: 'I knew it was home since I got here'

Saraland (Ala.) three-star wide receiver Dillon Alfred has committed to the Ole Miss Rebels during a visit to Oxford, he tells On3. He picked the Rebels over schools like Tennessee, Missouri and Arkansas among others.
“I knew it was home since I got here,” he said.
Alfred added that Ole Miss had been his top school from day one when they picked up his recruitment his sophomore year.
“They were the first ones that believed in me, and they kept on being consistent and keeping a good relationship with me,” he said. “They’ve developed so many good receivers here that went to the NFL, and that made a big impact.”
Alfred said that Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin is a “great coach” and a “great person.” Alfred also has a strong relationship with passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach George McDonald, who led the charge for Ole Miss in this recruitment.

“We get along really well, he’s a great coach,” Alfred said of McDonald. “The relationship me and him have with each other. . . to this day we’re still building a relationship with each other. He’s a really great coach and I can’t wait to have him coaching me in the future.”
Alfred is the nation’s No. 381 overall prospect, No. 60 wide receiver and No. 17 recruit from Alabama in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the fourth recruit to join Ole Miss’ 2025 recruiting class. Fellow commits include Quitman (Miss.) top-40 running back Akylin Dear, Opelousas (La.) three-star linebacker Corey Amos and Daphne (Ala.) three-star EDGE Talib Graham.
