4-star WR Noreel White decommits from Ole Miss

Ocean Springs (Miss.) St. Martin four-star wide receiver Noreel White has decommitted from Ole Miss, he announced on Sunday night.

He was pledged to the Rebels since Aug. 25, when he flipped to the in-state SEC program from Arkansas.

White is the No. 288 overall prospect and No. 47 wideout in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 player in Mississippi.

“I would like to thank coach Nix and the entire coaching staff at ole miss for being with me through the this process. I would love to thank the entire oxford community for supporting as hard as they have been I will never forget it. Since I committed I could see myself making multiple play in the Vaught. But due to everything that’s been going on and the talks i’ve had with my loved ones I feel as if it’s best for me to decommit from the University of Mississippi and reopen my recruitment. I hope that you please respect me and family through out this. Thank the man above,” White wrote.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
