Dundalk (Md.) four-star offensive tackle Chimdy Onoh took an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend. He included the Rebels in his top four schools, alongside Michigan State, Penn State and Rutgers.

Onoh is the No. 207 overall prospect and No. 14 offensive tackle in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Maryland.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound recruit has already taken officials to his three other finalists. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Nittany Lions have a close lead for his commitment at 21%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Ole Miss’ 2023 recruiting class currently contains 13 pledges. The Rebels’ group is ranked No. 29 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 11 in the SEC.

Onoh has an On3 NIL Valuation of $9K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Chimdy Onoh On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Chimdy Onoh:

“Twitched up offensive tackle prospect who imposes his will on defenders for all four quarters. Shows excellent foot speed and balance. Terrific burst off the line of scrimmage for his stature. Measures in at nearly 6-foot-5, 270 pounds with 9.5-inch hands. Incredible raw power at the point of attack and possesses violent hands. Won the Maryland 4A state championship in shot put and discus throwing 61-foot-4 in the shot put and 175-foot-6 in the discus.

“Appears to lack ideal arm length for the next level but makes up for it with his hand placement and ability to stay engaged. High ceiling prospect who has the chance to develop into a premier tackle if he is able to maintain his athleticism as he adds mass throughout his frame. Impressive basketball player for his high school team who can get up and throw it down with ease.”
