The Portal King is back and in a big way. Lane Kiffin is moving full steam ahead in the NCAA transfer portal, landing former Florida EDGE Princely Umanmielen. A massive get for Ole Miss as a productive pass rusher from the SEC will be a part of the 2024 roster.

According to the On3 2024 transfer portal rankings, Umanmielen is the No. 3 overall player to enter thus far in the cycle. He is considered a four-star transfer with a score of 95.56. Only Walter Nolenwho recently visited Ole Miss — and Cam Ward are ranked ahead of Umanmielen.

Zach Berry of On3’s OM Spirit reported the news of Umanmielen visiting Ole Miss on Monday. Kiffin was then able to seal the deal in what could wind up being the program’s biggest haul out of the portal this offseason.

In his 12 starts this season with Florida, Umanmielen notched career-highs in tackles-for-loss with 11.5, seven sacks, 17 quarterback hurries, and a career-high in tying 39 tackles. He was named a second-team All-SEC member for his accomplishments.

Ole Miss does have a game scheduled against Florida this upcoming season at the Swamp. Umanmielen will face have another opportunity to play in front of the Gator faithful but will be wearing different colors.
