Pierce Clarkson transfers from Louisville to Ole Miss
With Clarkson out and off to the SEC, Louisville is fine with incoming quarterback Miller Moss, who transferred in from USC.
Moss spent four seasons with the Trojans. He played sparingly in his first two years in Los Angeles before appearing in seven games in 2023, including a breakout performance in the Holiday Bowl where he threw six touchdown passes.
He took over the starting role in 2024 after Caleb Williams‘ departure for the NFL, but had an up-and-down campaign before being benched after nine games in favor of transfer Jayden Maiava.
Moss finished this season completing 64.4% of his pass attempts for 2,555 yards and 18 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions. He boasted a 135.1 passer rating.
