Four-Star QB Demond Williams Jr. decommits from Ole Miss
Four-star quarterback Demond Williams Jr. of Chandler (AZ) Basha High announced his decommitment from Ole Miss Friday evening.
The 5-foot-11, 180 pounder had been committed to the Rebels since December.
Williams sent a statement to On3 regarding his decommitment:
“First I would like to thank Coach Kiffin, Coach Weis, and all of the Ole Miss staff that has believed in my abilities and been there for me since day 1. I will forever appreciate the consistent love from the fanbase and community of Oxford.
After careful consideration and talks with my family and God, it is in my best interest to take a step back and decommit from the University of Mississippi and re-open my recruitment.
Ole Miss will still be one of my top choices, thank you and please respect my decision. God’s Plan.
