Lane Kiffin combines Blue’s Clues with 'sissy blue' trend for hilarious tweet
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin’s big week of Twitter trolling continues.
After the Rebels’ official account tweeted a video combining Steve from Blue’s Clues with a touchdown run by running back Snoop Conner, Kiffin took it upon himself to promote the tweet.
But he didn’t just retweet it. Kiffin added his own commentary, continuing to troll LSU head coach Ed Orgeron for his “sissy blue” comment before the Tigers lost to UCLA last Saturday.
Steve Burns, the former host of the popular kids show Blue’s Clues, appeared in a video on Tuesday discussing why he abruptly left the show in 2002 after six years. The video prompted several memes and posts in the social media world, including the tweet from Ole Miss.
Kiffin has taken to Twitter several times this week to comment on Week 1 events.
He has been a frequent participant in the “sissy blue” banter. Additionally, he took multiple shots at referees both in the Ole Miss game and after Brian Kelly stepped onto the field to argue about a running-into-the-punter call in Notre Dame’s game against Florida State.
Kiffin returns to the sidelines this weekend after COVID absence
After missing the Ole Miss opening victory over Louisville due to a positive COVID-19 test last week, the face of the Rebels says he is fully healthy and ready to be back with his team.

“I will be back for the game, so excited about that,” Kiffin said Wednesday during a weekly appearance on the SEC coaches teleconference.
The Ole Miss front man gave more insight into his health heading into the home opener.
“I have no symptoms, I’m great now,” Kiffin continued. “That was strange obviously not being there (for the game Monday), winning and not being in the locker room and stuff was strange. But everything happens for a reason, and I think it was good to watch it on TV instead of them panning to me after every score. For them to put the credit on the players and assistant coaches and Coach Lebby was awesome to see, because they deserve it.”
As of now, Kiffin still cannot have contact with his team.
