No. 13 LSU vs. No. 20 Ole Miss was as thrilling as it was nerve-wracking for all parties involved. That included Rebel QB Jaxson Dart as he had one of his best moments of his 20 years.

Dart couldn’t contain some of his excitement when talking about Ole Miss’ 55-49 shootout win over the Tigers during his postgame presser. He said he’d never been a part of something like that matchup was and that it was by far his favorite college game in his career to this point.

Hell no – That was awesome!” said Dart. “That was, like, one of the funnest moments of my life.”

“This was the best. This was the best, for sure. No comparison,” Dart said.

Dart played his part in the excitement with one of his best collegiate performances, if not the best. He completed 26 of 39 passes (66.7%) for 389 yards, four touchdowns, and no picks. He also rushed for 50 yards and another score as he accounted for five of the Rebel’s seven trips to the endzone against LSU.

That helped him end up as the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for this past weekend.

Whether you were a participant or a spectator, Ole Miss’ victory over LSU felt as electric to everyone, especially for those in Oxford. The Rebel’s QB1 couldn’t have agreed more with it being an all-timer in his own personal record book.

Sam Pittman shares impressions of Ole Miss’ offense

Arkansas’ Sam Pittman and his defense will have their hands full with the Ole Miss offense this weekend. The Rebels have scored 44.6 points per game this season and enter coming off a memorable comeback victory over LSU.

Pittman gave his thoughts on the Razorbacks offense during Monday’s press conference, highlighting the play of Jaxson Dart, Quinshon Judkins , and Ulysses Bentley IV.

“Dart’s really good,” Pittman said. “I mean really good. Those two running backs, I think they’re as good as anybody has. Both of them. They’re good. Judkins is really special. The transfer from SMU, (Bentley), is really good. Kickoff returner as well. Their line, they got three veterans center over right. Then they went in the transfer portal and got a couple of good players on the offensive line. But, I think coach, he runs the ball quite a little bit. I would too if I had them running backs.”

“You see a lot of explosives,” Pittman said. “For us to win, we’re gonna have to cut those explosive plays out. That’s (Judkins) going up the middle of the field as well. But they basically run four running plays, basically is what it is, and off of that they have either RPO or read from the quarterback. Dart’s a lot faster than I want him to be. But they got playmakers everywhere. They got, I think three receivers over 300 yards catching and just really scary. I mean they’re explosive. I think we’ll have a good game plan as always.”
