Andalusia (Ala.) four-star running back J’Marion Burnette was re-offered Ole Miss Tuesday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Burnette is the No. 160 overall prospect and No. 14 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 8 player in Alabama.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Burnette holds 17 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Auburn as the heavy favorite to land a commitment from Burnette at 91.8%.

In an interview with Auburn Live last July, Burnette told Keith Niebuhr about Tigers’ running back coach Cadillac Williams, “I can see him coaching me in the future.”

Auburn was one of the schools Burnette listed in his top 12 last June along with Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and UAB. He told Niebuhr that Alabama, Oregon and the Texas schools were the standouts at that time along with Auburn.

Burnette currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $73K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
