4-star DL Kamron Beavers commits to Ole Miss Rebels
Bay Springs (Miss.) four-star defensive lineman Kamron Beavers announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Sunday night. He chose the Rebels over Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M among others.
Beavers is the No. 137 overall prospect and No. 16 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Mississippi.
On3 rates Beavers higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 15 EDGE in the country and the No. 2 player in Mississippi.
“Beavers is a perfect fit for the middle of the defense,” Zach Berry of OM Spirit wrote on March 31. “(Pete) Golding will shift Ole Miss from a 4-2-5 to a base 3-4 this season. Beavers is someone who can be a run plugger and a difference maker at the point of attack. There are several big names in the trenches in the 2024 class, especially in-state. Beavers is one the Rebels are watching closely and, as of this writing, I think they get it done.”

Two of the six players from Mississippi are now pledged to head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff in Beavers and Pascagoula (Miss.) four-star defensive lineman Jeffery Rush. They are also Ole Miss’ only top-200 commits so far in the cycle.
“I talk to coach Kiffin here and there and we’ve been able to build a good relationship,” Rush told On3’s Jeremy Johnson on March 17.
One other four-star has chosen the Rebels in Chandler (Ariz.) Basha four-star quarterback Demond Williams Jr., the No. 272 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking. Meanwhile, four other three-stars have chosen Kiffin and Co.: Picayune (Miss.) Picayune Memorial running back Chris Davis, Winona (Miss.) Winona Secondary School linebacker Fred Clark, Clarksdale (Miss.) cornerback Patrick Broomfield and Jackson (Miss.) Callaway wide receiver Jeremy Scott.
Ole Miss also has one junior college transfer. Ellisville (Miss.) Jones College linebacker Raymond Collins committed to the Rebels on April 14.
