Ole Miss had an open date on Saturday, giving Lane Kiffin extra time to prepare for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Or maybe he was still thinking about the prior week’s game against Texas A&M, where the Rebels escaped out of College Station with a field goal win. Kiffin has made his thoughts known on what happened at Kyle Field, especially with faking injuries.

Kiffin saw another opportunity to call out Texas A&M on Monday, using his favorite social media platform to do so.

In a viral video going around Twitter, lions are in the way of some cars trying to pass through in Tanzania. Kiffin quote tweeted the video, saying he can relate to the people frustrated with the stoppage. After all, one of the lions comes out of nowhere before falling to the ground.

“How I feel when a team has a bunch of defensive players all of a sudden lay down and won’t get up,” Kiffin said.

Kiffin is never going to be afraid to speak his mind — no matter the platform. Whether he is at the podium in front of the media or using Twitter on his phone. The Ole Miss head coach is not afraid to troll programs across the conference.

But his most respected opponent will be in Oxford on Saturday. Alabama comes in after a loss on Saturday, looking to get back on the right track. Kiffin will be looking to finally get one over his old boss.

Lane Kiffin addresses talking to Texas A&M players on field

Things got a bit heated during Ole Miss and Texas A&M’s game, and Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin found himself right in the center of it.

Kiffin seemingly grew frustrated with the plethora of injuries on the field from Texas A&M players, and a video surfaced showing potential comments from Kiffin directed at an Aggies player. There was no audio on Kiffin at the time, so making out exactly what was said is difficult. But regardless, Kiffin directed some sort of comment towards Texas A&M defender Bryce Anderson.

Kiffin was asked about the moment after the game, and he attributed the incidents to simply having some fun with the players from the opposing team.

“I was just having fun with them,” Kiffin said in his postgame press conference. “Those kids are highly energetic like a lot of five-stars. Kind of fun to mess with. So it was all good.”
