Lane Kiffin cautions his Ole Miss players against “rat poison” — but apparently that applies to their parents, as well.

As QuinShon Judkins has broken out at running back for the Rebels, the hype is becoming more and more apparent. Indisputably, it’s deserved — Judkins has amassed 535 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on 85 carries over his first season in Oxford.

Still, Kiffin hilariously took to Twitter to caution Judkin’s mother — Teeva Judkins — against falling victim to the “rat poison.”

Regardless, it’s difficult not to get amped up while watching Judkins play for the Rebels, as the star running back is making his case as one of the best ball carriers in the nation already. While he came to Ole Miss as a three-star recruit out of Pike Road, Alabama, nobody could’ve predicted he’d make such an impact so quick.

With more success will come more rat poison, and Lane Kiffin knows the sky is the limit for QuinShon Judkins. Ole Miss has a star, and the running back and his family will continue to have their eye on the prize.

LOOK: Lane Kiffin trolls own assistant coach after Ole Miss win

Moreover, Ole Miss started their SEC conference debut game of the season with a bang, as they upset No. 7 ranked Kentucky at home 22-19 this weekend. There’s a lot to celebrate right now in Oxford, as the Rebels are off to a 5-0 start and earned themself their first top 10 ranking of the season, ranked No. 9 in the AP Poll after their big win.

But for Ole Miss co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Chris Partridge and his staff, a game-sealing sack fumble by edge Jared Ivey was enough to celebrate big at the moment, as the whole staff rejoiced in the team booth after the play. Partridge accidentally showed some skin during his celebration, which surfaced on Twitter, and head coach Lane Kiffin couldn’t help but poke fun of his assistant.

We’re sure the coaches all had a good laugh about the not-so-flattering camera angle and Kiffin’s joke, but what isn’t a laughing matter is the performance of Partridge’s defense on Saturday. The Rebels held Kentucky to less than 20 points, the fourth time they’ve done so to an opponent this season.

Ole Miss has also established one of the most dangerous rushing attacks in the country, averaging 261.8 yards per game on the ground, which ranks fifth in the country and number one in the SEC. The Rebels seem to have found the formula to win games this season, and if they can keep this up, there will be a lot more for Kiffin and Partridge to jump around and celebrate this season, but maybe with a tucked in shirt next time around for Partridge.
