Lane Kiffin claps back at LSU after they attempt to troll him following upset
After LSU tried to poke fun at Lane Kiffin on Twitter following handing Ole Miss their first loss of the season, the Rebels coach had the perfect response.
To illustrate, one of LSU coach Brian Kelly’s earliest public moments as the new Tigers coach was a video of him dancing beside tight end recruit Danny Lewis Jr. — a video that Kiffin joked had to be fake or that Kelly’s account was hacked.
After the LSU took down Ole Miss on Saturday, LSU’s Twitter account shared a photo of Kelly with emojis saying “no rat poison” in response to Kiffin’s joke back in January. However, Kiffin turned it back around on the Rebels’ SEC rival, stating that the Tigers are only harming themselves.

“That’s actually rat poisoning yourself (face-palm emoji). Great job yesterday. Congrats @LSUFootball. See ya next year,” tweeted Kiffin.
Alas, Kiffin is no stranger to social media being used to poke and jab at rivals after big wins, but Saturday was one of the rare times he was on the receiving end. Still, he handled it like a professional, wishing good luck the rest of the season to the Tigers.

Moreover, in a funny twist to the SEC connections, the player in the video Kelly was mocked for dancing in didn’t actually come to LSU when he made his signing decision — Lewis signed with Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Continuing, the video with Lewis wasn’t the only video that made its way around the internet when Kelly first came to LSU, he filmed a similar “360-spinning” video with five-star quarterback Walker Howard that was set to Garth Brooks’s iconic “Callin’ Baton Rouge” song.
Moving forward, Lane Kiffin will look to continue to avoid rat poison at all cost, while Brian Kelly and LSU will keep trying to up their troll game in the future.
