LOOK: Lane Kiffin, Eli Drinkwitz trade barbs over SEC Media Day shoe game

Lane Kiffin is usually a fairly cavalier presence. Not afraid to ruffle feathers with his thoughts or rock an odd ensemble during public appearances. Ahead of his turn at SEC Media Days on Monday, Kiffin shared a picture of the splashy socks and shoes combo he’d don at the podium.
See below:
Very nice. The top of the tongues on each shoe even spells out “The Sip” to add a touch of Rebel pride to those powder-blue and white kicks. Plus, those socks are shaded in Ole Miss coloring with little choo choo trains on them, and say “All Aboard” at the bottom. All aboard the Lane Train, of course. He also clapped at Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz in the post too, who is scheduled to take the stage directly after Kiffin on Monday at SEC Media Days.

However, Drinkwitz had some fancy footwear to fire back with himself.
Drinkwitz shows off shoe game too
Here were the pics of his shoes in response to Lane Kiffin.
Some gold, black and white Mizzou-themed Nike kicks from the Tigers head coach. He also noted that 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. Which is, in fact, true, according to the Chinese calendar, which officially designates 2022 as the Year of the Water Tiger and extends until January 21, 2023 — well after the college football season ends. So Drinkwitz could rock those shoes during the College Football Playoff Championship and win Missouri a title during the Year of the Tiger. How fitting.
A a friendly online fashion fight among two of the SEC coaches slated to appear at Monday’s round of SEC Media Days. Unfortunately for viewers everywhere, the podium may hide their shoe game when talking. But surely camera crews will catch these snazzy sneakers throughout the day as Ole Miss and Missouri get their turn in the sun in Atlanta.
