New Jersey 4-star DB Davison Igbinosun commits to Ole Miss

Davison Igbinosun announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Saturday during the All-American Bowl.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Union, N.J., four-star safety Davison Igbinosun announced Saturday that he is committed to Ole Miss and head coach Lane Kiffin.

Igbinosun is the No. 193 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 rates the 6-foot-2 defensive back as the top player in the Garden State and the No. 128 overall prospect in the 2022 On300.

Igbinosun chose the Rebels over 30-plus other offers, including Kentucky, Tennessee and Rutgers. He is Ole Miss’ 18th commit in the 2022 cycle, joining a group that ranks No. 25 nationally, according to the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.

He was previously committed to Rutgers for about three months but backed off that pledge in October. Igbinosun’s older brother, Desmond Igbinosun, is a current freshman for the Scarlet Knights.

Igbinosun had a terrific senior season at Union High. He ran the ball 76 times for 903 rushing yards for 12 touchdowns. He also had 20 catches for 405 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, he had 74 tackles and three interceptions.
